Paper Fortune Teller
NOV 5 2021
This is a paper fortune teller representing specific ancient symbols, each holding a different meaning for the player’s fate. Of course, this is only a game, a playful way of thinking about one's destiny.
RULES
The person holding the fortune teller presents it to the player (as shown in the first image), and the player asks a question, which will be answered by the final revealed message. The holder then asks the player to choose one of the four symbols. If the symbol is North or South (marked by the letters N or S), the holder will move the fortune teller vertically; if it’s West or East, the movement will be horizontal. After the player makes a choice, the holder opens and closes the fortune teller four times, revealing four new inner symbols—the Runes. The player selects one of these symbols, and the message beneath it is revealed. This message represents the player's fate, answering their question.
